    Hi got my Q5 unlocked today. It seems that BBM is only working by wifi, when I turn off the wifi I can't send or receive any bbm messages. I did a reboot still the same issue. Any thoughts??

    You stated you unlocked it but you never mentioned what carrier you're using the device on. Is it one that still enforces the use of a BIS plan like Bell? Because the provisioning on the account has been known to cause issues with BBM. In which case, no matter what you do it's not going to work without talking to the carrier and getting the right plan / services assigned correctly.

    Thanks for the responses guys..found out the problem, the mobile network was switched off; so was data services. Something so simple..all fixed and working perfectly!
