    Hi forum,
I have recently purchased a new SIM free Blackberry Q5. I am using the Vodafone UK network Pay As You Go, for the services - with texts, minutes and data package.
I have two issues with the phone.
The first is: it won't charge past 76%, if I turn if off and charge or leave it on, it still won't charge past the 76% barrier.
The second is: it won;t update to the lastest OS10 3.1 or 3.2 software. When I link it to my mac, or attempt to update it via the phones wifi/internet, it still maintains that the 10.2.1 software installed on the device is 'up to date'.

Does anyone have any ideas to fix any of these issues? I have tried resetting the device.
    Thank you for your help.
    James.

Simplest way is to update the device yourself. You can get the latest OS here:

Look up autoloaders and Sachesi in the leaked OS stickies to learn different ways of doing this.

Perhaps the new software will fix your charging issue too.

I had that problem. I re installed the OS and that solved the battery problem. As for the update, I use BlackBerry link on the desktop. It's easier and faster as Q5 does not have much memory
