Yah I'm in the same boat. I switch back and forth between the Q5 and the Z10 and i'm spending more time on the Q5 mainly because of the battery.

I bought 2 of these from Koodo. Great phone, Buy a soft case and the plasticy look disappears. Battery life is fantastic and like using the FM radio my Z10 doesn't have.

Does the Q5 double type? That's the problem I'm having with my Q10.

Haven't heard of any double typing issues for the Q5. Funny that the Q10 the more expensive BB10 is having hardware issues...

Depends on ur use. As a pure communication device q5 is better. If you want to run games and android apps a lot of them are not compatible with the q5

Battery life and physical keyboard I'd that's what you want. Otherwise you get less app compatibility and slightly worse specs except for battery life. Oh and fm radio + miracast included with Q5.

I want a Red Q5 for 150 dollars. I wish they sold them to the US

I need something to type fast on. I've been typing on glass for 14 months. I'd say that is a long enough time to know for sure I miss my zero mistake typing they I had on my 8530 and 9810. Could type as fast as I could think. In the dark. Blindfolded.

Q5 would be great for me until they make the slider of my dreams. Or even a large screen candy bar with a tool bar.

Went 31 hours the other day on one charge, amazing!

31 hours?! That's amazing! How much usage?
Mine goes 12 max with almost continuous usage.

Q10 doesn't have a better battery life? I guess integrated batteries perform better.

To get the 31 hours I woke up at 1pm, went to work at 3pm, worked 12 hours, slept until about 11 am, went to work at 3pm and the phone died at 8pm.

I used it during those times, but I admit that while working it is not heavy use.

Still my q10 would never have made it to the 2nd day.

Even this charge is good..

942pm last night, it's now 2pm today and still 8 hours left, plus I am pretty sure it didn't have full charge, cause when it dies around 8pm last night it got about 1 hours of charge

Right but the whole point of amoled was to increase battery life. It seems like it's the integrated batteries that tend to use up less.

Wow the battery life seems to be good on Q5.
I'm very happy with my battery life on the Q10, it last all the day and that's only what I need.
I remember the bad days I had on my Z10, and the need to plug it 2/3 times per day...

Can I ask how long you having been using it and what don't you like about it? I'm just curious. I'm use both a Z10 and the Q5 and find the typing experience excellent on both devices. Different, but excellent. So I'm curious to know what other people who use the devices think about them, especially folks with such strong opinions such as yours.
