Seem to be having a problem on Vodacom in South Africa. Downloaded 424 megs and 80%into the install. It starts to download a 1 gig download. Not sure what is up. Letting it download now

I have a Q5 and running 10.1 but can't get 10.2 tried for. Months but won't work it says 10.2 is 995mb so I proceed but then it says it wants 1.7 gbs to be cleared but I have over 2gbs free I'm confused why it won't install. I have more memory than it wants yet it does this, pls I have any advice email me, [email protected]

I have a SIM free Q5 in Europe and check for updates comes back 'you have latest software' (10.2.0.424), nor on BBlink, though have old mac 10.6.8 and few updates are available for it anymore. Blackberry help on twitter just says see your local carrier - somebody definitely not reading messages there.

You can download the 10.2.1.1925 leak for Q5 and also download the 1899 radio file just in case it automatically rolls back to whatever old radio file your carrier is currently pushing. Backup Device using BlackBerry Link, run Autoloader, Complete Phone setup, Restore Device using BlackBerry Link. If you have a problem with using the good, working, tested leak that's been working fine for many and has the same version number as the Official release and you would like to use the official, it can be easily downloaded for any BlackBerry 10 Device using Sachesi. Sachesi provides a simple drag and drop method to convert the update files it downloads into an autoloader that you can use.

yeah the updater is a pretty good tool. You WILL have to back up first, because the download itself installs directly onto your phone without the need for Sachesi. Shocked me the first time I tried (as i was expecting the OS to need Sachesi to be installed), but I did make a backup first.

I have had no issues on q5 but had to use BlackBerry Link desktop software on my z10 for some reason. Worked great tho.

That's what I'm thinking, but everyone is saying it's also available for the Q5.

I cannot update my Q5 buh is requesting for more space which I did, but It seems is still the same thing, pls am totally depressed I need your help...

Update via BlackBerry Link, backup w/ Link and update through an autoloader, or do a Blitz nondestructive install -- avoid OTA.
