Just opened wifi connection and received the message below. As I am not sure I want to update to 10.3.1 because of bugs and because I use flash on MLB TV, I guess I just don't free up the space so it cannot complete? Or should I let it download and then defer the update to stop it draining data and battery by trying to update? My provider is Koodo in Canada. Thanks for your advice.

"Update Paused. Please free up additional 674MB of space to continue with this update. You can move files to your media card or remove applications that you don't use."

Just update with Link instead. It takes less space on the device.

    Don't hesitate. 10.3.1 is great.

You can side load a native flash browser for your Flash sites:

Are the bugs effectively under control? Planning travel tomorrow so would defer until after that at least as I would need it to be working with good battery life and all contacts intact, not still sorting itself out. I assume BBLink update would overwrite whatever partial download has happened and also that it requires a USB connection? Thanks again.

I think the vast majority of people are pretty happy about the latest build.

There is always an off chance of something going wrong with an update - but it is fairly low risk.

The update will clean up any partial downloads, yes.

Play it safe, do it later.

Also there's a chance it might keep wanting more and more free space (I gave up at 3gig free and it still needing a gig, and borrowed a computer to load it using BlackBerry link).

    Still not working right.

Will leave it for this weekend while traveling and then decide. If I do decide to install via BB Link, should I cancel this download first? (It offers a choice to resume or cancel). Thanks again.

Since it can't finish that way anyway, you might as well cancel. Then turn off automatic updates in settings so it doesn't start again by itself.
