Well, first the touch screen but I am sure I pick up the qwerty later as well...

I think I'll wait and try both. I struggle with touchscreens and my playbook is taking some getting used to but if touchscreens have an increased choice for apps, that may sway my decision...

Very hard to decide. I'm really enjoying my 9900, tbh. One unintended benefit to the keyboard form-factor: you don't need to turn your handheld on its side for certain functions.

OTOH, the full-touch has that big, gorgeous screen. Hard to resist, for sure.

Full touch probably. I am intrigued by the word flicking gesture. Lol.

My first ever Berry [9000 Bold] had me hooked on BlackBerry's keyboards.....been a Bold user since the 9000, I'd like to mess with the keyboard variant, as I can't see myself with a touch screen phone for some odd reason. My IT guy at work, who went to BB jam in waterloo said something about January 21, 2012. Said a friend of his at RIM kinda had the slip of the tongue lol, has anyone else heard anything?

I got money aside for the N series! Bring it on!!

Default for me is the QWERTY, but I admit the L series with the whole predictive word flick thing may make up for my lack of finesse on a virtual keyboard.

It will likely depend on how much longer I'd have to wait after the touch screen phone is released.

Mostly QWERTY unless blackberry touchscreen keyboard is different from the rest. I might think about it. Will have to see first before deciding.

My PlayBook will be my full-touch BB10 device for starters. My 9900 is still pretty new to me so I'll probably ride that out while I wait for word on a slider. I liked the 9800, although the keyboard was a little sunken and not as nice to use as the 9900. If they can do a slider with a better keyboard, that would be my choice. It may also depend on how much I like the full-touch experience on the PB. Hopefully, I can gt our VZW rep to let me try them when they come out. He was good to us when the 9930 dropped.

Good point, I will also use my playbook as my first full touch #bb10 along with my wife's L phone (or A)

I'm a QWERTY kinda guy, and it's very likely I'll get that one but won't know for sure until I've tried both models out.

I only pray that the keyboard will be as nice or even nicer than the 9900!

It would be such a letdown if it was below par.

What ever new version they make of the Torch. Big touchscreen with a hidden keyboard. Best of both worlds!

Everyone seems to agree the BB10 phones will be bigger than the current slider and bold's.

My issue with the torch was that the keyboard was squished and not as accessible as the traditional quertys. So maybe with more real estate a slider will be best of all.

Of course, by the time a slider comes out, it might be my 3rd bb10 device, since I likely wont be able to resist buying them as they are released!!

I can not wait until the BB10 devices are released!!!! TBH when BB7 came out I wanted to get the BB9900 but I was with US Cellular at the time so the closest I could get was the BB9850. That is an all touch device, and the virtual keyboard was....subpar........to be polite. Before getting that device I had my first BB device which was a BB9630 (tour). The UI was GREAT on my BB9850, but I craved my shortcuts I could access from the QWERTY of my BB9630. Nevertheless I pushed on. Until I couldn't take it anymore, but by that time someone broke into my car and stole it. Well, I didn't want to drop money on another device so I hit up craigslist and got me a steal on a BB9000 (talk about back to the future) but I tell you, the typing experience on the BB9000 was heavenly. I mean, I finally knew what everyone would talk about when they said they can't live without their QWERTY. And I am a man with some freakishly BIG hands!!!! And I was able to type almost blindfolded on the BB9000 without errors!!!! So I will definitely be looking for the N-series to be my main device. But that is only if the ACTUAL keyboard feel of the BB9000 is integrated into the N-series. You would think RIM would get the point, that they need to stay with the BB9000 keyboard.........I mean......really. But, to my disappointment, the pics I am seeing show a totally different keyboard, more horizontal than upward curve. So what am I to do? I WANT to stay relevant and get a BB10 device, but if my main task (typing) isn't enjoyable.......then.......I have no choice but to leave RIM. It's quite simple, keep what people love. You kept BBM, you kept DocumentsToGo, you kept convenience key.......bring back the f*@$ing BB9000 keyboard!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I will buy the L-series first. That will replace my Curve 9360, and the only reason my current device IS NOT a BB9930 is the same reason I stated above.....it doesn't have the true BB9000 keyboard. I don't want to carry anything other than a BB in late 2013, but if the keyboard isn't right I will be regretfully forced to jump ship. Please RIM, don't make me jump ship.

I will definately go with the N Series. I have a question, and it maybe a dumb one and also off topic so forgive me. Will this 1st BB10 N Series come equipted with a front facing camera for video chat?
It better or I won't be coming back to BlackBerry for a long time.
