I kind of agree. Except that if I was into photography then I would use a real camera to take amazing shots with. The thing is, I am not so I want the camera on my phone to provide effortless and clear snaps of mundane things like items for ebay listings and a few documents I want to digitise. the Q10 produces images that are blurry and grainy in all but the best sun light. My opinion is based on comparison to other phones which cameras I have used for the same purposes.

Hmm, my Q10 really makes great photos. I always get compliments about how great the photos are. Crisp, clear and very state of the art. Also, you can edit them which I recommend. There is also a "instagram"-like filter. After I have edited them I love using the filter. And the pics looks great. Even those, without the "instagram"-like filter.

Maybe you have bad device. I also make quick shots for ebay, etc. They really look very good. But I agree with you. I know that many companies are specialised in making better pics with HD-cams, etc.

Hope you can check out what is going with your camera in your Q10, Sir.

Still have my Q as my secondary phone. Can't live without it. Highly recommended!

Ignore what all the companies are screaming at you about what a Smartphone should be able to do. What do I ACTUALLY use my phone for?

    - Taking photos
    - Texting/Facebook/Email
    - Listening to music
    - Flashlight (I know it doesn't seem like a prominent thing but I use it ALL THE TIME)
    - Occasionally using the web to prove myself right in a debate or get movie times

After I stopped listening to the advertising I realised I don't actually want a smartphone that is mostly glass and runs like a computer--I have a computer for that.

My Q10 is more comfortable to hold, has the nicest keyboard of any phone ever, sports a gorgeous camera and has a smooth, reliable OS to boot. As the market for smartphones becomes saturated I'm beginning to draw gazes of curiosity whenever my Q10 comes out of my pocket (which it fits in, unlike the Note 3)

I'd recommend this phone in a heartbeat, and it's pretty easy to do so when it's the most interesting phone on the market.

Yes. Depends upon what the potential user wants. The Q10 is a communication device, not a mobile entertainment center as many mobile phones have become. It is extremely versatile "all things considered." Will probably purchase a spare.

I think it's the overhyped mentality that we must have EVERYTHING in our mobile phone. Fact is, we don't need to. We just got persuaded by ads, that's all.

I agree, just returned note 4 and purchased a Q10. Note was too big, did not want apps that count my foot steps and take heart rate. The note was also 700 dollars.

It's awesome. Today I installed 10.3.1 now I have an new phone. If you realise that it is a 2013 device... everything works smooth. I like the shortcuts and the good camera. Now my Z30 is retired ;-)

I m using Q10 n seriously I m waiting for 10.3.1 officially, So that I can use Blend at my Nexus7 or PC. I like te PKB. But I am having the double typing issue with the space bar. Sometimes very irritating. Overall I m very satisfied with it. If I ave enough budget, of coz I will invest Passport n keep Q10. I like the Red Passport coz it is sexy n limited. Let's rock wit BlackBerry!

I was having double typing with my Q10, it was out of warranty, but rogers fixed it for $15... well worth it!

The native browser does not run flash in 10.3, so its a toss up for me if I'm going to upgrade
