    I'd prefer like this :
    - Q10 form factor
    - All touch
    - Z30 specs: screen ppi, processor, mother board.
    - the metal belt to be stainless steel brushed like 9900.

Can a Passport owner tell us whether the keyboard truly replaces the touchpad?
Yes, can any one tell us?

Would you want a Q10 with a bigger screen and a touch sensitive keyboard ? Think of a device that is shorter than your Q10 but significantly wider. The 1:1 screen is a design killer. A pocketable phone is pretty much limited to the width of a Z30. The Classic is probably the largest 1:1 screen that you can fit on a phone that you use as a phone in a holster or carry in your front pocket. The Passport design probably does not translate well to a pocketable phone that is not a mini tablet.

Yes it would be cool to have a q10 with touch sensitive Kb. But not essential.

So I told you guys I would come back and answer your question. The keyboard as the trackpad is awesome. There aren't any cursors or ability to click links using the keyboard but it definitely is nice to scroll through a page using the keyboard. I really enjoy it. You can also swipe from right to left to delete the last word you typed in. It's also easier to delete several words at a time that way instead of holding the delete button. It beats highlighting the few words on the q10 to delete them.

Can it REPLACE the trackpad? Eh not completely.
Do I prefer it to the trackpad? Yes

    Thanks for clarifying this, Coraya.

I hadn't thought about the fact that there's no 'select' button on the keyboard.

Never know. They may add one. For their to be a select button, which they could make the spacebar, they would need an on screen cursor

That would be the device that I would want. I might be the minority here but if blackberry made the screen any bigger I would hope that it would be a minimal increase. Have the same keyboard (increase keys by maybe 10% to go along with the slightly larger screen). And lastly add just a fraction larger bottom bezel below the screen for the swipe up gesture. And the touch sensitive keyboard trackpad idea implemented. I like the one handed use and over all form factor of the q10

I would love that phone and definitely upgrade.

I think it's a great idea; BB10 is designed to not need a toolbelt... although I think the design team needed to do this only to attract legacy users over. So next iteration should be what some of you have mentioned; bigger screen, capacitive 4 inch keyboard and rounded edges (non Foxconn style)

The perfect BlackBerry phone that everybody would buy:

    - Thin as Z10
    - Wide as Q10
    - Silver bezels like Classic
    - Longer than Z10
    - Same screen dimensions as Z10 (not square)
    - Physical keyboard with touch like Passport

Am I wrong? You have it all in one, and it's even not unrealistic. But they don't want to make this perfect phone.
