So, is the Q10 going to be a world phone? Im on Verizon and I'm pretty excited for it!

One of my previous blackberries was the first Storm. I have it unlocked and it works perfectly fine with a Tmobile/ATT/Any SIM. Will the Q10 be similar if unlocked?

So you have seen the specs on the Verizon Q10 and are sure that the one Verizon is selling will work outside the US?

The specs for the Q10 are floating somewhere around the internet and I'm almost positive Crackberry had a blog on the specs so search for it on the website. Regarding if it will work around the world, Verizon usually gives you a SIM card which will work on GSM radios around the world but you will just have to wait and see when its released.

Does that have any information on which GSM and CDMA networks are in each model?

No it does not and understandably because they have not even released a final version for testing yet.

So that doesn't answer the OP's question (which another poster definitively answered incorrectly).

Is the Verizon Q10 going to be a World Phone.

    No one here knows.

Ok Thanks. I havent been on here in a while so I wasnt sure if that had been talked about yet.
IDK how exactly all that works. My iphone has a SIM slot but its locked to not work with local GSM carriers, where as my old storm works with both, even though they're both bought from Verizon. I'm assuming its just that the iphone is locked that keeps it from working locally. IDK.. doesn't matter. I was just hoping the Q10 will be similar to the storm in that respect.

While nobody knows for certain, hasn't every mid to high model released by Verizon been a world phone for a while?

At least as far as blackberry devices, even that low end curve model (9370) was a world phone so it seems almost certain that a new high end bb10 device would be a world phone too.

All Verizon high-end smartphones are supposed to be global phones via GSM/UMTS. So I would guess the Q10 will have it if the Z10 does.
