    Hello to all,
I'm planning to switch to WIND as my cell service provider and get the Q10, but wondering what is the model number?
Is it the same as in Big 3?

Thanks for the info. They sell it for 450 outright or 50 on 2 years contract. What would be the best with these guys? Contract or outright?

Well with contract its gonna be a 2yr commitment! If u like switching phones every year then buy it outright! Wind is a good choice too! The big 3 just cost an arm and leg!

I would just buy the device, but if you don't mind the 2 year lock in, why not get a subsidized unit?

Q10 is now $0.00 on Bell with 2 yr contract. Actually all BBs are. However the Z30 is sold out everywhere.

Get it on Tab. If you want out, all you do is pay off what's left on the Tab.

The Tab is an interest free, risk free, forgivable loan. I can't see why you wouldn't use the Wind Tab. There are no deals if you don't right now.

I'm more in the direction of buying it outright. It is going to be my forth BB10 device. I would have the whole collection. Was thinking about Note 3 and ended up checking another BB10 phone.

For each month you're with Wind, 10% of your bill goes towards the Tab. Let's say you stay 3 months, you've saved yourself about $10 for no risk or worry. Want to leave? Just pay off the rest that you owe (and are willing to pay anyways) and walk. You don't pay tax on the Tab amount from what I remember and if you stay 2 years they write it off.

There is no benefit from what I can tell to buying outright. Sometimes they have service credits, but I don't think there are any right now.

    Hah.

Anyways, even if you paid full price for the phone, you'd be saving that much in a year due to Wind's highest rate being half Robellus' lowest.

Just registered there. Will hit the closes WIND store tomorrow. Do you think that if it is End of Life sale they'll stop selling BB?

I was confused by that too. I think the BlackBerry 10 phones are on for the Spring Sale, not EOL. The price ends on April 13th.

I saw Torch and Curve on the EOL list.

I was in the store couple of days ago and didn't see any Torch or Curve.
Last people I know who bought Curve from WIND are my wife parents and they did it 6 month ago

Anybody has this experience? Care to share?
I'm trying to add second line ( from Rogers to WIND). i am in the second year for another line and it is still the same price. However, if one had a special discount for the first year, Mobilicity had such a discount once, the second year is higher.

    How so?

I've had the same $40 plan going on nearly three years now. They've never changed anything on me.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On another note, I've got a shiny red Q5 I'm thinking of trying to offload to pay off the $250 left on my tab, then grab a $50 (or $0 if it's on sale... I think it was a few weeks ago, even) Q10. I love my awesome red phone, but I really miss that AMOLED screen, and getting a borked Q10 that I can fix up for use on Wind isn't as easy as getting one that I can fix up and use on one of the Big Three networks. It's basically finding a Wind or T-Mobile phone.

Which is a shame, 'cause keyboard replacement is way cheap and also super easy.

I'm only seeing the Q5 on right now for $199.

Looks like it may be inaccurate or they are still updating.
