I broke my bell Q10 (SQN100-1) so I'm looking to replace it with a Wind Q10 (SQN100-5) because it seems to have all the frequencies of -1 plus one more (AWS), and I can get a really good deal on it. But before I make my final decision I want to know if it's 100% compatible with Bell. Thanks.

As long as it's unlocked, it should work. If the new Q10 has all of the bands of the old Q10 (plus one), then there should be no changes in connectivity.

Currently using an SQN100-5 on Bell, no issues on LTE or HSPA+

One thing i've noticed though is that the build quality of the -5 is really cheap. If I press slightly hard on the screen I hear a squeaking noise and the backlight underneath the keyboard is awfully dim compared to my -1. And the funny thing about this is that my -5 is made in Canada and -1 is made in Mexico. I guess they really should outsource jobs to countries with more dedicated hard workers.

My Q10SQN100-5/10.2.1.1925 is made in Mexico and I don't have those issues. Could be a bad batch.
