IMO, BlackBerry ought to come out with:

    - The Slider
    - a 5.5" touchscreen device
    - a Q10 replacement with no trackpad but bigger screen and better processor while keeping the weight in check

But, my main phone squeeze right now is a Q10 probably until that slider appears.

For OS10, Sprint will only offer the BB Q10.

Will that help make the Q10 a classic (aside from fact that a year ago, the Q10 could only be ordered online, and not in stores). Or, is Sprint simply plain stupid for being unwilling to offer its BB legacy and Q10 users an upgrade path?

It's a keeper for as long as replacement batteries are available. There is a finite supply of OEM batteries for discontinued products so perhaps we loyal holdouts need to start stocking up.

Have found many "good" buys for batteries on EBAY.

I don't know if it will become a classic device ( think not ).

9900 is a classic because is the last OS7 device workhorse and had no real replacement till Q10 had the 10.2 update.

Q10 has a nice descendant called the BB classic but if you look each other side by side the Q10 seems more modern and fresh than BB Classic.

Q10 has specs that will mantain up to date at least for 2-3 years.

Q10 is the best blackberry to touch and keep in hand.

    I use daily BB PP - Q10

I think the Q10's form factor has the right balance of thin profile and battery life. I don't understand the current obsession with making products so thin it leads to compromises in durability and heat dissipation and the need for non-removeable batteries. I've seen some items in the tech press about Samsung's new S6 having bending problems; is this what what we can expect from future Foxconn-designed Blackberries?
