    I can see the thumbnails, but when I click them, the picture just goes to a black screen with a square symbol with a flower on it and the video says unsupported media format. How to fix?

    I had a similar problem. I resolved it by copying the contents of my card to my laptop, reformatting my card in my phone, then attaching my phone via USB and copying the files back. When I opened my pics app, it took about 5 minutes for the phone to reindex the card and then all was fine.
