The big selling point for the Classic is that it comes with the toolbar. However, I think people are forgetting that the Q10 already comes with full alphabet keyboard and that there are so many unused keyboard key shortcuts at any given time.
To end calls, why not use the spacebar? It doesn't have any function during phonecalls.
Good point... but what if you're typing something while in a phone call?? end button works from anywhere in the phone so that idea seems good but only if you're in the phone app...
I am willing to settle for the extra step of going to the phone app before ending the call.
However, right now pressing the voice control key on the right side during a call results in mute. And there is no function for holding it down for long.
So short press on voice control key: mute
Long press on voice control key: end call
Can make sense for ending calls outside the phone app.
Trouble is, you can take notes during a call. That raises the possibility of inadvertently ending a call if the user doesn't activate call notes properly.
