I never restart my Q10, once I shut down my Q10 since I was in flight, when I turn on my q10, it takes around 15 minutes to work normal on my hub, 5 minutes just preparing hub, another 5 minutes to load all my email and messages in hub, and another 5 minutes to operate/open message normally. Anyone experience this as well ?

and for handling pdf file, it takes more than 15 minutes just to display the content. I don't know whether the file has too complicated content or not, but I tried with my iphone, it opened without any issue

after shutting your phone off it should take a few minutes to get everything operating smoothly, but 15 minutes? I think that's kinda long

Jaydee would know better than me but would an app of some kind cause that sort of slowdown on startup?

That's what I thought, strange. I recall before upgrading to new os, never happened to be this long. Is it a bug, that's why I'm asking anyone experience this ....

and yes, it's around 15 minutes, because I try to fetch my email which has hotel pdf file, and from airport to hotel is around 15 minutes. And about the pdf file is another bad experience .... maybe it's the file because my other pdf file has no issue, but again, no issue opening with my other device LoL

I never installed any app or apk which involved with the hub, email, messaging or aplication that involved with background activities ... Maybe I should delete some application that I'm not using

What do you think Jaydee, wipe the phone and reinstall the OS? I can't think of anything else at this point. I know it gets recommended a lot but it might be the ticket.

15 minutes is definitely too long unless you have 5GB of email sitting on your phone.

For a work around until you have time to troubleshoot it can you just use airplane mode instead of turning off the device?

15 minutes is too long however BlackBerry devices generally take longer than other devices as they go through a series of security checks
