It's been almost 2 whole months since the BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS update has been available to BlackBerry users and my Q10 tells me there are no updates available. I have tried plugging it to my computer and it changes nothing.

Your device will first search for updates based on the SIM card inserted in the phone, so if an update hasn't been approved by your carrier then your phone will continue to report that no updates are available. In most cases, you can remove the SIM card and check for updates over Wi-Fi which will check for updates based on the devices point of origin (so if you had a Q10 purchased from Rogers then it will check for the latest update available from Rogers).

BlackBerry Link works in a similar fashion, so in most cases it will report no update available with the SIM card inserted and then the latest available update from AT&T if you remove your SIM card.

If you want to bypass all of this and update to 10.3.1 on your device, you can do so either using a tool such as Sachesi (non-destructive) by using the Country/Carrier codes of 302/220 respectively which is for TELUS in Canada who are currently pushing out software release 10.3.1.1865, or by using one of the autoloaders available here on CrackBerry. You can find links for 10.3.1.1865 (OS 10.3.1.2708) here: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...links-1009696/

Would the Telus update 302/220 work for T-Mobile in the U.S.? If not...which one should I use?

I have an unlocked Q10, currently on 10.3.1.1779. I just put a TELUS sim card in it, but it still shows that 1779 as the latest software. Shouldn't I be seeing 1865 then?

By the way, I have sims from many countries. I also tried a Rogers, Koodo (Canada) and Vodafone, O2 (UK) sims in it. Still the same. It's frustrating!

Tried the above methods, however well intention-ed, yields no results with using AT&T and removing SIM card, still shows 10.2.XXXX. "You have the latest software."

I updated my Q10 to 10.3.1 using Sachesi.
But the OS has so many problems that after 6 weeks I went back to 10.2.1 so I could have a functioning, drama free phone.

Hmmm...perhaps because I'm still under contract to t&at, it won't load, even though I'm using Sachesi 2.0 RC? It only goes so far, then STOPS.
