The only thing that could pry my Q10 from my hands is the Passport!
What about the iPhone 6 ??? Don't you want one of those? ;-)

I've done the same with the Q10 :/
Now I'm gonna wait- and see if there are some first production issues(like double type, yellow amoled screen)
Then, hopefully I'm going to buy the Classic and Passport cheaper and after a Facelift with no issues.

I hear you, I got the Q10 at 1/3 of the price after waiting all this time, manufactured 23/June/2014, thus far no issue with double typing issue so far (after 1 month of use), fingers and toes crossed!

At this point, I am not sure why I would get the classic when I have a Q10.
I agree. I will, of course, go in and play with one (assuming some carrier in the US has an active display model), and make my final decision then. However, after 15 years using a Blackberry with a trackpad, in one version or another, I really have gotten used to the fluidity of the Q10.

I'd hold onto the Q10 - it's only one of 2 phones in their catalog that features the soft touch glass weave - and anyone who's handled either the Q10 or Z30 knows these are perhaps the two best feeling phones in your hands - bar none.

Also, it pains me to say but after the last round of releases it may be their last if sales don't hit 10million.

Might be hard to find Q10s after that lol.

I don't know. Maybe every one is after the upgrade of specs. But I think it isn't really much of an update of specs. I think mainly if you will change your Q10 to a Classic, it'll be because of the toolbelt.

So going back to the thread and per above note, I won't. Not at all. My reason? In my opinion, the Q10 looks sleeker, sexier, and more modern looking than the Classic. So im in for the Q10 fashion-wise. I always want people giving me compliments for my new BlackBerry. There aren't much people that chooses BlackBerry over other phones, but when they do notice, well, they notice that my phone is a modern and new BlackBerry.

The Classic looks like a regular 9900. For other people who aren't familiar any more with the BlackBerry phones (a lot of them), well, they will just mistakenly see the Classic as a 9900 of some sort. If it has a large set of difference, like maybe a fingerprint scanner, high res screen, and the likes, maybe I'll do a double take. But if not, then I'll keep my phone for the compliments.

    I do like the attention don't I?

I agree that the glass weave is awesome. I too love the feel and look of it....but I also love the back of my Z10 (black). If the Classic has the same material as the black Z, I'll be perfectly happy.

I'm really surprised that more qwerty BlackBerry users aren't looking forward to the belt and the largest screen that a BlackBerry qwerty device has ever had.

Classic all the way... (hence the term classic people...) can't wait for this baby!

Q10 is awesome! but it would of been better if they made it with the 'belt'

I'm sticking with my q10. I'm not worried about having the tool belt anymore since I have gotten so used to the q10. My only wish is that it had the trackpad scrolling capabilities of the keyboard like on the passport.

Definitely keep my Q10! Really don't see the point of a toolbelt with an OS this good and smooth... For OS7 it was inevitable to use it, so I can understand the use of a toolbelt..

    Point is, OS10 doesn't need a toolbelt

OS 10 of the current iteration, eg 10.2.x.xxxx
the 10.3 will making you to want to use the tool-belt more, coz the Passport and the Classic and upcoming devices will mostly be making use of the 10.3

For me, a qwerty device with capacitive keyboard (like passport) makes more sense. I personally do not see a need for the trackpad or belt on a device with touchscreen. It's evident BlackBerry does this to accommodate BBOS users or to attract them to BlackBerry 10, but the end result is a device that isn't optimized in functionality. Also, a device that retains its square 3.5 x 3.5" screen is more desirable IMO..

I don't think the Classic is enough of a jump in screen size to get me all revved up. If I'm moving up from a Q10 and the 3.1" screen I'm going all the way to Passport with it's 4.5" monster screen. 3.1" to 3.5" is an incremental bump and not enough to make me jump. Yeah, it's a nice bump, but not enough of a bump for me. I'm going Passport all the way!

I actually started using an old 9300 curve before getting the. Q10
And because I got very well with the old one, the Q is a realy good for me.

After seeing some classic pics I think the Q looks better...

Used my upgrade to get the Q10. If the reviews are good for the Classic then I will sell the Q10 to buy the Classic.

I love the Q10, only had a problem with the battery, if Classic get good reviews and the tool belt serves a purpose (not that I think it won't, just want to know what) then that's my next upgrade. Would be happy to sport a passport but my everyday use would not do justice to the phone. So long as I have a BlackBerry then model is not so important for me.

Even though a track pad is faster, we're only talking about by a second or two.
I've gotten used to gesturing and so long as BlackBerry keeps improving the OS, I don't see a need to get rid of my Q10

I hate blackberry for not releasing this 2 years ago. And for that matter, I will not upgrade and will stay to use my Q10. Goodluck on advertising this and marketing.

Passport gave me a little excitement because I dislike the form factor. I my petite hands cannot touch the beautiful passport. I think, I'm gonna stick with the Q10. Until such time I think getting the Classic would be a major need of my life to upgrade.
