There are pro's and con's for both and the Q10 is the winner in round.

I will get the Classic unless it has a non-removable battery. Then it's a non-starter.

At this point, I am not sure why I would get the classic when I have a Q10.

My jury's still out. I love my Q10, but I miss the tool belt. I think I will wait and see if people like the Classic, then if there are issues with it that need fixing. THEN I'll consider getting the Classic.

Odd that people seems to gloss over the screen size jump of 3.1 to 3.5. Ideally, I want a Q10 with a 3.5 in screen but since that isn't going to happen I'll take the Classic and have the tool belt there for those few times it is nice (read: cursor placement).

Reason I am not big on the Passport, I am awesome with the shift and sym keys on my "traditional" keyboard and not sure I will like the Passport's new look/feel. I will give it a try though.

Short answer is I will be leaving the Q10 for probably the Classic but maybe the Passport.

I dont know. The Q10 has Glasswave back, removable battery, HDMI...and looks more 2014
The Classic- nonremovable battery and the great toolbelt...but looks like a 2010 phone

Same for me: q10 remains fresh & cool. I will keep it

I'm keeping my Q10, I love it! I have no use of the tool belt on the Classic(though I do recognize others see a legitimate use for it).

    I'm more interested in 10.3

I'll wait to see how it is on the Q10 and then make a decision from there.

I'm only getting a classic if it comes in white and fully compatible with tmobile. My Q10 will be a backup/out of the country device of choice

I have no need to change my Q10 unless it's broken or stolen by some scumbag.
Last one I had (simple Nokia) lasted about 4 years. I do not buy stuff I do not need, let the fanboy's and fashion victims do that.

I don't really agree with that I think the Q10 looks plain and boring while the classic looks like a more premium device

I'm pretty sure I'll be relegating my Q10 to a backup role in favor of the Passport. However, I'll definitely take a look at the Classic when it comes to Verizon. Looks like September 24th is the debut of the BlackBerry Passport, but do we have a date for the Classic yet?

I have had my Q10 over a year. Love it! Does work nice with no double type ever luckily. Is the best of Blackberry, will continue to use certainly.

I have come to prefer the gestures as well. At first I wailed for my buttons, decrying their disappearance and mourning the death of "the old way." But now I have come to appreciate the way gestures handle (most) tasks better than buttons. Copy/paste is the exception.

I like my q and as long as it keeps working I will keep it. I'm no longer got to have latest phone. The classic looks like it will be nice to use and still pretty good size. Looking forward to getting one in my hand. I think for me I might like the tool belt back again.

I was really looking forward to the Classic and I still am. But it doesn't have the premium look I was hoping it would. It looks like a Q5 more than a Q10. The Q10 just looks so professional. Plus the Classic doesn't seem like a huge upgrade. So I may just stick with my Q10 for a little longer.

I've had only one BlackBerry before my Q10, and that's the 9900. The Q10 looks avant garde without the toolbelt and the trackpad - but that's just me. I'd understand why many would like to have those things back, but as for me, I like the clean look of the Q10, which is why if I ever move forward with another BlackBerry, it'll probably be the Passport. The only thing that will dissuade me is that non-replaceable battery.

I love my Q10 - it's my first BlackBerry phone. I've never had the experience of using the toolbelt, but I have a feeling it will be a very nice feature to have. My only problem with the Classic is that from what I know it has the same specs as Q10. I don't want to use my phone upgrade for essentially the same phone. I'm hoping that BlackBerry does something to beef it up - faster CPU or more RAM, etc... If not, then I'll just get a different phone when it's time to upgrade. I will say, I have really enjoyed using my BlackBerry this past 1.5 years. It's quite the conversation starter when going out to bars - people seem surprised to see a BlackBerry in the wild.

I had to stop midway to make sure I didn't write this. I echo this entire message from it being my first Blackberry, to people at bar surprisingly seeing a BlackBerry. One caveat, I love my Q10, albeit my first and only BB, and not looking for a change.

I'll keep my Q10 in addition to the Classic.

I've had my Q10 since it launched last year, and it doesn't feel old or outdated at all. With 10.3 on it, it has just gotten better and better.

I'm still very happy with my Q10 running the 10.3 leak, not considering buying the Classic. Perhaps the Passport somewhere in the future, but I'm not in a hurry. Keep calm and berry on as they say...
