Who wants to have a brighter display?

I have my Q10 now for a year. Since last year there were 3 updates of BB10.
I thought BlackBerry would give us the possibility to deactivate the ambient Light Sensor. Sorry, but it would be great to have a brighter screen for me.

I know, some People say "it is ok for me", other People say "oh, it is really, really dark". People are different.

But: how many People want to have a brighter screen? Am I the only one?

Please, If you want a brighter screen, Please write a short answer to this Post. Perhaps BlackBerry will hear us.

I keep the brightness at the lowest, it's perfect, my girlfriend keeps her cranked, it blinds me lookin at it.

Let's not make it brighter please.

I don't need a brighter display. Maximum brightness is enough, I keep it around medium brightness on my Q10. Auto brightness would be a good feature though.

I would honestly give anything for my screen to be brighter. Even with it up all the way I can barely see it. It's dull and horrible.

My Q10 is sexier than your Q10.

This. Have it at lowest screen brightness. A brighter screen as an extra is always good though (for the people who want it).

Yes of course we need a brighter screen
I'm saying this from day one
It's so easy for blackberry with an update to give us the opinion to set auto brightness off.
If you want it on ok, but a lot of us wants the auto brightness to be set off
Just give us this option like Z10 has
It's just so easy on-off. on-off on-off

Thank you, Naeg! This is it. BlackBerry give use the choice. It would be no Problem for People Who want like it is, but it would be a massive help for People Who want to use the Phone outside and not only in a room!

The screen is fine for me, but I do think BlackBerry should address this for other people who want it brighter.

If you use snap, you can install thousands of "brightness apps". Unfortunately they only work in the app. is there anybody out there, Who can write a headless app for this annoying topic? would it work, If the app were headless?

Yes this would be a good idea for devs to make an (purchase) app that can put auto brightness on Q10 to be set OF ,when someone wants it.
Blackberry seems that can't give us this option, so a dev i believe can .
Devs please if you can help :)

I can say that I would love it if I had the option to make the screen brighter. Some things would just look better at times.
