With my old 9900 I could just connect them and then transfer the file easily. With my Q10 there doesn't seem to be an easy way...

Even with USB I don't see an option to put it on my Q10.
Put the Q10 to USB mass storage mode? Or use link and have WiFi drive access like I do

Thank you for your answer. Both unfortunately don't work for some reason. When I put my phone on USB mass storage mode and connect him, I don't see him as a driver on my laptop. And I don't even know how to make WiFi drive access work.
Install the latest version of BlackBerry Blend first from www.blackberry.com/blend. It will install all the necessary drivers, BlackBerry Blend, and BlackBerry Link. You can actually just toggle the drivers alone for installation.

You must be sure that BB Link access is off on your device. If you switched BB Link on in your settings it gets in conflict with USB mass storage settings. Another issue is the size of your SD card. Cards bigger than 64GB require a special driver for USB access on some OS, especially Linux. This is because cards bigger than 64GB get another file system (exFAT instead of vFAT). I don't know if every Windows version and edition supports this.
Another very comfortable option is to use good old FTP. I have an app which provides FTP client functionality for my device. On my laptops I have FTP servers. This is easy for transfering entire directory structures full of files.
Join the 21st century, install Wi-Fi in your home. Enable network sharing on your BlackBerry then it is just like moving files between two PCs. Or use blend.

To access USB mass storage u have to have a CD card on your phone
Transfer the files to the cd card then from your phone move them to the device storage
