Back of the black Q10 feels great. It's a rubberized texture. Provides a lot of grip. It feels nicer than the white Q10 IMO.

I love the glass weave back, anytime I take it out of the case I always think how nice it is. Sadly with my work I need to use an otterbox.

The rubberized glass weave is beautiful and functional. I've never used a white Q so I can't compare the grip difference but I've never had a problem with the phone being slippery. Even considering my hands are mostly on the bottom half. I like the commuter case for the added lip of silicone which is very grippy when sitting the phone face down. Today I was having battery issues with my car and opted to just listen to music from the Q while driving with it sat face down on the dashboard and it stayed put perfectly for more than an hour's commute.

It's really nice! Great grip on it and it's beautiful. I wanted a white one but I'm really glad I have the black, same boat for the Z30 too!

Along with the OLED screen and sturdier chasis (and better reception), the back of the black Q10 is one of the major reasons I'm switching back from my Q5.

Having a red phone is my number one priority, but when I got a red bezel and red back for my original Q10, while it looked nice, it had the same glossy finish as the white model back, and the black, rubberized glass-weave is just so comfortable I put it back on almost immediately.

It's how I'll be rocking my new (used) Q10 once it gets here, for sure.
