Been through a couple free ones so far. Seem to not update often enough, have minimal info, or because of our screen size, a lot of info is cut off. If they have integrated radar, it is tiny. If it isn't integrated it is a browser link, which I don't want.

What I'm looking for. ACCURATE forecasts. Current temp/wind/dewpoint/humidity, that isn't from a reporting station 50 miles away. Integrated current radar that I can actually see my location. Push notifications in the event of severe weather watches, warnings etc.

I know these aren't androids but does any app offer a push notification that is audible? I had one on android called storm shield that sent a tone and voice notification, just like a weather alert radio, whether the app was open or not. That isn't a deal breaker, but is a plus. I'd like it to at least have a notification in an open frame running in the background, even if it's only visual, so I don't have to constantly open it to check. I live in "tornado alley" and like to keep up on these things. They come up fast. A payed app is okay as long as it's a good one. Suggestions? Thanks.

BeWeather 10 Pro has wind, dew point, humidity, and pressure readings. And it has an app wallpaper that changes depending on the weather. Have you looked into it?

Agreed BeWeather Pro is my default weather app, but if I really need to know the weather here in London. I have to fire up the Met Weather app sideloaded from Android.

beweather pro is what I ended up with. Loaded it last night. Pretty happy with it so far. In fact, I received two alerts already for wind warnings that go into effect at noon tomorrow. Audible tone and it wasn't running in a frame. That's exactly what I wanted. Really like the wall paper. It would be nice if it had a UV index but that's minor. My only small complaint, when I open the radar, it opens showing an area about 45 miles to my southeast.

There was an article here on CB a few days ago. Not only good picks but the comments gave insight on some of the more popular choices. Worth a read.

BeWeather was given points for being pretty but lacked accuracy.

For me I've settled on the default BlackBerry app (AccuWeather). It's been accurate for my location. Plus, it's already installed which eliminates redundancy.

EDIT - AccuWeather's version of the same app gives you more readouts, which is what you're looking for

I like BeWeather Pro but on my Q10 the words overlap in the active frame since my city name is so long... so I use BlackBerry Weather which also works nicely!

I use Weatherzone Plus. Best Aussie weather app. BeWeather doesn't send weather warnings etc for Australia, so it's out for me.

I have a few installed, but I tend to use ilmeteo as it is usually very accurate and it's the only one I've found with decent long term forecasts (2 weeks) and also hourly forecasts... and it's free

Another BeWeather Pro user here. Been using the app since I had my Tour 9630. Sometimes the app may have a few issues here and there, but I find it the best at what it does.

I personally use the default Weather app because as others have said, it is already installed and it does fine.
