- 1. The company won't close or it's services won't go away. why you may ask? They never said we are shutting it down, they never said we are bankrupt and dead. They said they are looking at ways to bring back the company into profitability, i.e by the means of a 'Partnership', 'Selling the company', going 'Private'.

So Basically the Blackberry services won't go away. Your phones will receive periodic updates and so on.

P.S: Don't just blatantly believe what's the media say's, read into things a bit more.

Its BB decision what do next, its not liquidation. I'm sure they will refuse to any buyer which intentionally destroys the company.

No worries on that score at the moment, BB10 is a major asset of Blackberry, whoever buys it will keep developing it.

I am also tired of this negativity. I came from a s3 and am amazed at the behavior of some people who supposedly love the brand but it seems that only know how to behave as if they'd like to see the end of BlackBerry

Haha, if this were to happen, BB10 would stagnate and die. Quotes from CB BlackBerry owners after the purchase:
-"It works fine for me"
-"Why would you need that feature"
-"You're obviously lying about that bug"
-"It's the best OS, it doesn't need any work"

I don't think there could be a worse fate for the OS, considering the attitudes of the die-hards.

I was just thinking of this I dint post this to be a Negative person because I use a Z10 and Q10 and I don't won't blackberry to go away this is my favorite phone of all time since I was 11 and I'm 24 now so I'm a die hard fan so any one want to throw salt on this post can just do so to fill your little Selfisteam Cup up.

Seriously, I think the OP's question, while it could have been phrased differently (ie "Should we be concerned about the use of our phones if Blackberry is sold"), is a legitimate concern. It's always been on my mind, but I'm just staying positive and rolling with the changes.
