Hi all, I have an unbranded Q10.
    Model number: SQN100-5
    Software Release: 10.2.1.3062
I have things running pretty nicely, but if there are newer versions maybe someone could share why it would be worth going from my current version to the version being recommended (example: battery life gains, new virtual......).

    Thanks in advance!

You might want to consider running 10.3.2.2474. It is the latest globally available OS for all BlackBerry 10 devices.

You get a lot of improvements with 10.3.2 from 10.2.1, although it's a mixed bag. Some people prefer 10.2.1 over the latest OS while others do like 10.3.2. Main advantages can be found here.

BlackBerry 10.3.2 and Blend 1.2 will make their way to all BlackBerry 10 devices | CrackBerry.com

Since you are on 10.2.1, you will notice a lot more improvements though since you are not currently using the enhancements brought about since 10.3.

Thanks for above reply, I'm going to try 10.3.########### but I'm a little upset that this update has to be done outside of the Blackberry desktop software.

I'm hoping to get Google Hangouts to work and I've heard the Android emulation is a bit better in 10.3 over 10.2.

Well technically your device should get this update without needing to use BlackBerry Link, unless the Q10 you have is not sold/supported in/by your country/carrier.
