Yes. Disable WiFi calling from within the WiFi calling app.

Okay, here is a little situation.

I just installed .3175 leak and "I don't have" the wifi app installed on my phone.
Even then my phone managed to make a call over Wifi.

Anyone have any theory about this?
Is it because BlackBerry divorced T-Mobile and now BlackBerry is implementing the WiFi-calling app into the OS itself?

I can be corrected if I'm wrong, but I believe WiFi calling capabilities are within every BB10 phone.
I think it's just the service provider that activates it with certain radio files or OS.
In this case I believe only T-Mibile and a small Canadian carrier provides it.

The WiFi app is just basically an on/off switch for the service which will remove the icon if turned off.
You can easily download it from BBW->TMo top picks->Business apps.

    HTH.

I have already done that.. And yes it does make sense what you are saying.

Only difference this leak has is, the wifi-calling is enabled by default.

Yes. As stated, I think it's because your service provider is T-Mobile.
Hence, your existing provisioning probably already has it enabled upon start up, maybe?
I gather any other leaks you tried it was not activated on start up?

    Enjoy the leak!

    No, first time..

Not its a Z10, I did try Z30 for an hour or so but I sold back. Kind of too big for my taste.

Have you tried turning off the WiFi calling app as stated previously for the OP?
Or, are you just trying to figure out how it WiFi calling function works?
