I purchased this Q10 new from a "Bell World" (Canada) November 1 2013. With the one year anniversary soon to come up I want to have fixed the double letter typing and the reboot.

What is the routine when one brings in a phone for repair?

    i.e.

    - generally how long does it take for such repairs?
    - I have backed up the phone using BB Link...is the phone wiped clean (or should I wipe it?)
    - I do not have an extended warranty at all....is there a loaner phone provided?

I think it heavily depends on where you bought it, was it a contract device or off-contract etc. In my case, I sent it back to my retailer, who sent it back to BlackBerry for repairs. The phone was way for almost eight weeks, no loaner device was placed.
I guess if you got it with a contract, you have a good chance of getting a loaner phone instead.

With telus I had the earpiece stop working, took one week to fix/get back. Gave me a samsung s3... after 20 minutes I felt like cutting myself, switched back to an iphone 4 which only barely stopped that desire.

Bell takes between 1-2 weeks, provides a loaner, known to replace keyboard, telus same thing but replaces phone.

I got the phone back in 8 days. I used my old Torch in the meanwhile.
