    Hello,

I just found this article BlackBerry To Ship A Classic BlackBerry With Modern Software In Mid-December For $450 | TechCrunch when claim that the price of classic will be $450.

I find affordable and fair price, although I will not upgrade my Q10 yet.

If it turns out to be true the Classic only features identical internals to the Q10, I think the price is too high, especially considering the massive pricedrops the Q has seen over the past few months.
If it would feature the specs of a Z30, I'd say the price is pretty fair.

If enterprises are willing to pay at this price (bundled with BES12 licensing and other value-add services) and part of the forecast to help BlackBerry to positive cash flow, then I don't see anything wrong with this price.

From a consumer standpoint, keyboard and toolbelt loyalists will probably pay for it through direct sales. Maybe through exclusive carriers, there could be subsidies to drop the price. Fickle consumers they probably shouldn't cater to in a price game, too unpredictable and not enough marketing dollars to compete with.

If the specs end up being the exact same as the Q10 -- I think the price should have been set at $349 unlocked. The nexus 5 and oneplus one are around that price point and have better specs

And with all of the Q10 dpl typing issues you see on CB you can't chalk the price up to superior build quality.

All that being said I think the Classic will be a great phone. I am loving my Q10 but I got it for $199 -- pays to be patient I guess. I am happy if the specs are the classic are the same because that leads me to believe the Q will last another 2-3 years easy.

If it has the same specs as the q10 or similar, then I think it is over priced

If this is the correct pricing at 400$ then wow its worth it. But I have a new q10 so upgrade will have to wait minimum 6months.

    Gentlemen please!

Why you picking up FALSE rumours that the CLASSIC has the same specs like the Q10???????

That is NOT true! And I am willing to bet 100 bucks with someone here! It is not true! Period. Stop spreading this false rumors.

HEy get this: The Classic will have the same specs as the Bold 9900 to please the legacy users. Now please spread it around.

Dont worry. Classic will have far better specs than Q10, but lies benaeth the Passport.

Mark my words or step up like a man and bet against me.
