I was wondering what do It-> %T and Id -> %D do, because when I type them nothing changes.

%t and %d were short time, short date, but the macros never have worked on BB10. Maybe someday we'll get them back.

That's European or military display. Try settings, date and time. I just looked on mine, and using 10.3.1 for some reason the setting isn't available.

In 10.2.1 release, the settings are in Settings > Language and Input. Look for the Region setting.

Thanks! That was my other thought. Could swear there used to be a specific setting, but I can't remember the last time I've ever looked for it.

I changed it to many different regions but still keeps popping out like this 2, 2014 11 10.

I was sure it was the right setting as stated the embedded explanation. But you're right. My language is set to English, my region to France, and I get :
    12:48:53 AM and Mon, Nov 10, 2014

Not right... It seems both settings are important.

If your date/time is set to auto, try switching that off.

Same thing. It's just an option to sync with a ntp server.
So, I guess, there is only the Language setting to test... and... nope same thing !
So, what else ? The Input Language ? Can be it. Cannot test it right now though...

Not sure if this is what you're asking but %t and %d work if you set it as a word substitution.
