Thanks all. Agreed. I was mainly asking to avoid installing a known lemon, so to speak. I have only been playing around so far with leaks on a z30 and a Z10.

I am reading a lot of forums about leaked updates. But in my part, I dont want to gamble my device and encounter such problems after trying leak updates. So just wondering, is that really safe?

BlackBerry Q10 Manila
Most people will say: Yes it is. However, having done so on multiple plattforms including BlackBerry, I stopped doing so. Especially if the phone is your daily driver. There can be frustrating bugs and issues with the software.
Besides the Classic will launch in eleven days and, if we are really lucky, maybe we'll see an official 10.3.1 before the end of the year.

It depends on you. Many people here installed new leaks whenever they were released. We are not afraid of any issue. If there are, we just come back to stable leak.
even an official release will have bugs, unfortunately.
But fewer bugs than any previous builds, which is what the leaks are. An official build is also Blackberry's show of confidence in the build as being good enough to be your daily driver.
10.3.0.1418 version that I don't like is the lost of Beeing able to just type any keys and it will give you the universal search. On this version it directs me to Assistant then, you get an option u either say it or type it. But when you type the app your looking ( total conquest game) it will not show on the list.
In my opinion, none of 10.3 OS can be the best for Q10. Official 10.2 is best of the best. I tried 10.3 OS, they are very useful, fancy, the look of icons and interfaces of menus are awesome... But, I think the first and most important thing about a cellphone is battery life. 10.3 doesn't drain the battery, it drinks, eats the battery. I almost charge it up 3 times a day. Yesterday after a long work, I finally downgraded to 10.2. I don't regret it, because it's been 19 hours that my phone didn't need to plugged to charge. And my beautiful friends, sorry for my elementary level English. Maybe your English is not enough for mine(=

same with me..
downgrade to official 10.2.
best OS for now
Hey all, I'm back to a Q10 after almost a year away. I'm a mac user and don't have easy access to a windows machine. Is there a way to install leaks via Macs now? There wasn't a year ago, but wondering if something has changed.

Yikes! Glad I didn't give in to the temptation to install a leak.
Miss some of the features we see with 10.3, but my battery lasts all day, with moderate phone use.
Ditto. Totally agree. Nondestructive installation with blitz and Sachesi was smooth. I have a q10 and z30 and am now favoring the q10 with the new update. Being able to adjust the screen is a big bonus.

You can do a non-destructive install for 10.3.1.x? If so, can someone tell me the carrier codes, etc, to use for Sachesi? I haven't done this in over a year and just got a Q that I'd love to try out.

You don't need codes with blitz and Sachesi 2.0.0 rc. See the link. By the way, I am not experiencing battery drain issues yet.
Thanks for your point but which 10.2x ? Because I can see there is a 10.2.2, is it an official release?
it depend on your carrier and country...
in indonesia last official release 10.2.1.3062,
i think 10.2.2 release in for germany ( perhaps)...
i can understand why the official os, take so long time to release...because the must checks many times to minimize the bugs
