Before, many of my friends ask why I'm using blackberry 9700? they ask what its advantages and I said because I can use the bis, unlimited internet and bbm, but now I use a blackberry 10, they ask what are the advantages of blackberry 10? but I could not answer , they like to tease me and I think regret when buying blackberry 10

I'm not sure what the advantages are. One I can think of is it's what you enjoy using. The only advantage the others have are apps and perhaps faster support/fixes.

There are lots of advantages of BlackBerry 10. Of course, the advantages correspond to the use. Each person will identify their own advantages. For me:

1) we have full support for Office documents, creating, editing, and viewing.


2) The keyboard, the best keyboard I've used thus far both on z10 and q10

3) flow and peek, the speed of the UI is an advantage, especially over touchwiz, way faster moving through things than on my s4 and s3

4) time shift camera

5) priority huB

And many more....

Ok,i understand now..but I'm just update my q10 os 10.1 to version 10.2 and it's release os but it's Not smoother system on my q10 before this..Example when I opened the facebook it is found not to be smoother than before, and sometimes when I want to lock my cell phone, it is to be stopped as hanging and until I have to force to restart,and the last thing when I leave my cell phone, without touching the screen, but it moves itself and a lot of my applications open on its own like a virus,I think I need to downgrade my q10 os back

You might want to back it up and wipe it and then only restore files and see how it goes and then try restoring your settings

To tell you the truth. If my 9810 had a front facing camera and had video bbm/Skype and all the other apps I would have been fine with it. It had more customization options and the software worked great.

Sure it took 1/2 hour to restart it. And lots of other things. Maybe it wasn't os 7.1 maybe it was just outdated hardware.

I miss my 9810 but in don't see any other portrait slider with a BlackBerry quality keyboard. So I'm keeping my z10 for a couple years and see what is available then.

Love BlackBerry and it could be great. I just want the huge screen and also they physical keyboard. I want a slider so bad. Asdfg

Advantage? It depends on what we're comparing it to. I beats the snot out of iPhone in some categories, and beats Android is some categories, and loses to both in # of apps.

What distinguished the Q10 for me (coming via an iPhone 5 and Nexus 4)

- Keyboard on Q10 rocks (shortcuts are useful)
- Hub and Peek really do make me more efficient..I thought they were gimmicky until I started using them
- BBM is great, and greater on BB10
- Sharing data/images between apps is smooth (like on Android...and unlike iOS)
- Battery life is solid
- Having a replaceable battery is a stress-reducer
- Story Maker...yeah...i said it. I like that app. I prefer it to Magisto (iOS and Android), and I use it to make vids of my kids for the grandparents.
- Solid build and professional looking
- Canadian
