If I have multiple linked entries for a contact on my Q10 (like, say, a Facebook friend who is also in my work address book), and I get a text message from that person, it shows up as a multiperson chat with the two duplicate contacts entries as the two othe "participants" in the chat.

If I reply to the message or try to compose a new message to this contact, my phone switches to MMS mode and sends my text twice.

Is this happening to anyone else? Any way to avoid it (other than delinking all my contacts)?

I had it too! Did a few battery pulls and it was fine again... :-)

I have a similar problem.
If I send a message with a photo/file to multiple people, weird things happen. If I send a photo to several people, then later select one of those people to just plain text, it says "sending as mms", the recipient is duplicated and receives two messages.
I have to delete the messages, delete the user then add them back in for it to behave normally.

I am having this issue as well. I keep getting the "entering mms mode" when sending a group text. Is there a fix on the horizon??
