I need something reliable that I can use for business. I'm willing to pay for the app as long as i don't have to buy minutes or anything like that.

Major brownie points if it's a headless app.

i've tried truphone... i need to be able to receive local phonecalls. truphone assigns a weird number that customers would never call.

My cell provider (Telus) offers the option to do call forwarding 'Not Reachable' where my normal cellular number is forwarded whenever my BB is not connected to the Telus network. f you're interested in calling over wifi or something you could setup an ephone to get a number, setup this dynamic call forwarding and then disable your cellular radio's when on WiFi.

At my place there is extremely little cellular coverage so this will be self managing as long as I keep my VOIP app running. Yeah, headless would be awesome!
