Is there anyway to turn down the vibration intensity in bb10? I work in a finance office where my desk is in close proximity to others. I normally have my phone on vibrate but have had to switch to phone calls only. The vibration is so damn loud when sitting on a wood desk.

No I don't believe so. I find it annoying too. Especially when you have BBM conversation going back and forth.

Put the phone on a notepad? Or on postit notes?
Or better yet, a screen cleaning cloth! Dampens the vibration noise and you'll always have a nice clean screen. :-)

Disappointing - wish I could make different profiles w/ different vibration intensities (i.e work/home/sporting event).

It's a good and bad -- I love it in pocket out and about. Hate it everywhere else.

I think I would need to sit it on a beach towel lol. It's so loud I never have to turn on my ringer.

All kidding aside -- thanks for the suggestion. I will try this when I get back to the office.

If you buy BeBuzz from BlackBerry World it will let you change the duration of the vibration. It doesn't effect the intensity, but I find dropping the duration works quite well.

There is one way. Drop your phone many times like I did. My vibration intensity is weak due to those drops. Lol.

Haha! Well at least there is one benefit to the drops.

Sorry your phone has taken so many drops. I have been lucky so far to not have a drop. I always find if I am going to drop it it's normally within the first two wks -- when I am handling the phone with kid gloves.
