I am unable to install viber in my BB Q 10. is it possible to use viber in this device? I could get a download from this link viberDroid-4.3.0.728-Blackberry-release but once i get the viber icon in my devise and i click that for installation, it is showing that ' unauthorized for this devise'. can someone help me out if you are already using viber in Q10.

Please install snap. Then you can install Viber through Snap. It is working to my Q5.

got it working on my Q10 using the links provided in the video. I noticed that for the messages to come in, Viber must be open in the background and in the recent applications, otherwise, you won't receive the messages/calls.

is there a way to keep it running in the background even if you close the app?

I got the latest one working from snap version 5.2.1 no problem with notifications only issue is calls keep dc after second ring btw I'm on leak os 10.3.1 and also snap v3 beta 2

Version 5 has problems with connecting the calls. Previous versions 4.x.x don't have that problem and work great.

Just search for viber apk online that is not 5.x.x. Then just copy the file on phone flash memory or sd card and install from there.

Everything works the way it should. The problem with Q10 was answering calls because you couldn't swipe to answer cause of the smaller screen. Now with OS 10.3.1 you can swipe from the top and adjust the size of any app screen so that is solved.

i dont have any other viber account now ! i did have on this nr on android and i deactivate it long time ago , . nothing helps !

Edit: uninstall/reboot/install and now it works!

I can't get the access code from Viber via SMS, getting a phone call then but never hearing any voice when answering the automatic phone call from viber. The phone call dropped in 2-3 seconds without any code response

Viber old version only syncs contacts in local storage, not in cloud such as google contacts. If you are using 10.3.1, try to use Viber latest version on Snap (or Playstore). It works well, text and calls are OK. I tested and confirm
