Hi, language and region are both set on Dutch and Netherlands resp. on my Q10 but for some reason when I press the valuta button only the $ sign pops up. To get the ? sign, I have to press and hold the button first.

How can I fix this so I can get ? when I press the valuta button?

Hold the currency / loud speaker button down.

Thank you, but I already knew that. The thing is when I am chatting for example I dont want to hold and press the currency button to be able to choose the EUR sign. On my old curve when I pressed $ the EUR sign appeared right away.

Oh ok I see. With my old Bold I vaguely remember the option to change the function of the $ button and put a ? there instead.

I don't think this is in these OS's yet...depending on how often you use the $ sign you could go into word substitution and create a word shortcut from pressing $ it'll type ? for you.

Language and input > Prediction and correction > word substitution

Other than that, I'm all out of ideas.
