Try this:
Hold your Q10 in right hand with pinky under phone, three fingers behind and thumb lightly resting over keyboard.
Look straight ahead, not at phone.
Move thumb to the left edge of keyboard and in bump bump, up and down. You should feel a little raised bump on a key. That's the D key.
Now feel down 2 keys, your on 0 key.
Press it.
Move finger up back to the D key which is also 5. directly up is 2 directly down 8. as the number pad reads:
123
456
789
0
Now just continue to move around typing your girlfriends/wifes number.
move thumb back over the dot on 5 key.
Stroke thumb across keyboard to right edge, last key down till your thumb is off keyboard resting between the return key above and the shift key left.
move thumb up over the return key.
Press.
Raise phone to ear.
Listen to dialing tone.
when ends, say 'I love you!'
Have confidence, you can do it.
You really don't have to look at a Q10 to make a call.
