I use the Playbook charger to charge my Q10 every time. The one that came with the Q10 takes too long, the Playbook charger is perfect.

I also have this issue. I purchased (what I thought) was the original OEM charger on Amazon, since I travel a lot and wanted to have one I could just leave in my bag. The part number of both chargers is: HDW-24481-001. However, the OEM charger is rated at 5v/750 mA out, where the replacement is rated 5V/1A out. One would think the 1A charger would be fine, however I get the same message about using the original charger, and the phone charges very slowly. In fact, if I leave it on playing music, it may charge only 30% over the space of 8 hours. I'm on OS 10.1.0.4200.

I also tried another BB charger that provides 5V/850mA out (this one original equipment that came with a previous BB), with the same result. So there is definitely something wrong here.

I think the PlayBook charger was (is?) sold as a premium charger.

I have 5 PlayBooks, 3 charging cradles, so I use extra PB chargers for my phone. Charges in no time with them.

The last couple of days I've gotten this error despite using the charger that DID come with the device. I've noticed, coincidentally or not, that my battery seems to drain more quickly these past couple of days as well.

Why am I getting this error, anyone know? I've had the phone for a couple weeks and never got the error until a couple days ago...

Same problem here. Battery has been draining much faster over the last few days. Now I am getting this message despite using the charger that came with my Q10. Suggestions?
