I have come back to BlackBerry after a few years on other phones. I bought an unlocked q10 off of Amazon and put in my AT&T sim and it works great except I cannot get it to update. I have tried on the phone and using BB Link. There is no option on BB Link to update and the phone keeps telling me it is up to date. It is running 10.2.1.3062 software release. I could use some help here.

Download Sachesi
Download the file from the first post here
Plug in your device to your computer
Open and run Sachesi
Go to the install tab
Drag the Zip file you downloaded into that tab
Wait.......
Wait some more....
You'll see the files being installed.
Wait some more...
And some more...
And likely even some more...
When it's done, disconnect your device
Kick back, relax and pretend like it was hard work
Enjoy.

I downloaded Sachesi and the zip file of the update but the phone will not connect to Sachesi. In the log its says: Communication Error: 2 (Connection closed)

Make sure you're using a USB 2.0 port(black not blue), and an authentic BlackBerry cable. Should help with connecting. If not, try a different USB port

Because the device isn't connected yet. It should show a list of your installed apps on that page.

Thanks for ur reply. It does show device detected but that is.

I've been waiting for couple hrs, and changed few different USB. That's the screen but nothing else.

What should I do?

it states the device is connected in Unix mode, are any of the settings under Settings>Storage and Access> Access using USB ticked? try turning them off and reconnecting

USB connection: Autodetect/connect to Mac. tried both. Same problem. same screen.

forgot to mention my old Q10 is still running 10.2.1.2156. it's T mobile unlocked. just trying to upgrade to 10.3.
