To all the BlackBerry Q10 experts:

Two days ago I finally made the plunge to 10.2.1. At first I tried to restore all my data and BBM didn't work. Read through the forums and discovered I could not restore all data as it mess up BBM, so I redid the update and only restored media.

I need the chats in BBM, and items that were in my calendar (apparent I saved them under home calendar). I cannot find how to do a selective restore, like I used to do years ago through BlackBerry desktop. Can anyone help?

With the latest OS you were able to restore everything and still have BBM working? I can't seem to get that to work.

Yes,for sure,bro
Data is restored from our back up (PC),but ? �� contacts are restored by signing in to BBID

It is 2 different cases

I have tried again to restore just the Application data, and now the Q10 will not let me get past the screen where you swipe up. Its hung. I'm going to try one last time, and I think I will not be able to restore my old data, except the media.
