The usual method is to dial *228 and select option 2 when prompted. When I dial *228 I only get an on-screen message:

    OTASP Notification
Your wireless service has been activated, and roaming has been enabled.

I never get prompted to select an option. Is there a new procedure on BB10 devices? Is there NO procedure? Enquiring minds want to know.

All device programming data is stored on the verizon sim card or transmitted OTA once the sim is authenticated. - from a VZW rep.

    What's the problem you're having?

I was looking to improve signal strength in a couple isolated areas. Not a biggie. Good to know it's all handled automatically and that the user doesn't need to keep up on it.

Changing to a newer Radio may help or it may make it worse.
