Anyone else get this update? I'm on Bell and have a Q10. Only 61MB.

TELUS started pushing this update out late last week for the Z10, Q10, and Q5: BlackBerry OS 10.3.1.2708 now available through several Canadian carriers | CrackBerry.com, I'm guessing the other carriers are following suit. Rogers began pushing 10.3.1.1779 late last week for these devices.

Just got the notification but am not on wifi right now. Any idea what's in this update? Will it fix all the craptastic stuff we got with 10.3? :P

It fixes the FREAK security vulnerability along with the low notification volume on Z10, Z30, Q5, and Q10 so I would highly recommend updating when you get the chance.

I just got my .1779 update on my Wind mobile Q10. Truthfully it auto loaded without my knowledge and I am not 100% sure I want this yet. Haven't restarted the device yet but I am hoping this OS update fixes all the issues.

Anyone offer any help by any chance? Thanks

Oddly it began to auto load and I disabled that function. So far, phone works well, fast and volume issues seems resolved. Not a long download. Was done in 20 mins. I have a Q10.

Actually, just got it and it's pretty good.
But, one interface issue - when in hub and you scroll, the tool bar on bottom should disappear but only partially does. somewhat annoying as it gets in the way. other than that and getting used to the smaller icons, not bad.

I believe that this is by design in BlackBerry OS 10.3.1.

That is normal characteristic of 10.3.1

Is the volume thing the only fix? I still have crap battery life. I don't think battery saving mode does anything at all. Other night I didn't touch my phone for 2 hours, and it dropped from 25% to 8% all by itself. Nothing running.

I got it today and it hasn't fixed my main issues with 10.3.1 - texting is still slow and half-functional, and the phone's still heating up a lot with use. I haven't had the update installed long enough to get a sense of its effect on battery life, but I'm not optimistic.

I just took the update. Q10 on Bell... Maybe its just me, but my Q10 is fubared... Apps no longer open, email only works for a few minutes then I need to restart the device. BBM says it lost connection with the server? (I never even got that error before). My Q10 is extremely slow and unresponsive. When I check CPU usage, system usage is constantly between 50 and 75%.

I guess I just have bad luck? :/

I find when my battery gets to around 30% it hardly lasts at all, when it gets to 20% i can drain it in a matter of minutes just using bbm or something.

My battery life seems to have improved. I did plug phone in for update but got update at 2-3pm today and was only at 70% battery usage and I'd been texting/using phone/email a lot. My battery life has been fairly good with this Q10 and I think it's largely due to not side loading apps. I found that really messed up my phone before.

Volume seems back to normal, phone is fast. I deleted bbm meetings. Not needed.

My phone didn't have a lot of issues as others did. I hope you notice a difference in your phones soon.

I got this from Sachesi....best 10.3.1 for my Q10 so far. Faster and much smoother than .2243 and .2558. Notification volume is quite loud so that I only set it only 80% of the way. No overheating issues after more or less a week on it and battery seems better that when I was on earlier 10.3.1 builds. however, I still cannot make the mobile conferencing to work...the "join now"button still does not appear despite the correct set up. But there is a work around though.

Yep had the latest official update on my Passport almost 3 weeks ago. Everything working very smoothly. Unlocked using Vodafone sim.

    Amazing Blackberry Passport! SQW100-1. 10-3-1-1565
