Unbelievable
On vacation with my family up in Vancouver. Went to Lynn Canyon suspension bridge and went hiking on the trails. Was crossing the stream on a small log with my daughter, when I slipped and fell into the water about up to my waste. After making sure I wasn't hurt, my first thought was, oh no, my Q10! It had been totally submerged and just like me, undamaged! I am typing this post on it, right now, Amazing!

I'd chalk this up to lucky and still leave the phone in a bag of rice overnight to make sure you get all the moisture out. BlackBerry builds a great phone but water and electronics rarely mix.
Happy it's not destroyed though :).
A slow climb to the top is always more rewarding. Sent using my BlackBerry Z10.

I'll second Poncherelly's advice. Pull the battery and stick your Q10 in a bag of rice just to be safe.

Didn't have rice, so I took out the battery and wrapped it in a towel at the hotel last night...Still working fine. So lucky!

My q10 has seen everything from dirt to water unprotected with not even a screen protector.. ya she's got some exterior nicks but the screen is still perfect, types great and is a pure machine! You just can't kill it..
