Hmmm... odd... as you can see from the screen shots above that didn't happen to my Extreme card...

Do you mean after formatting it in the BlackBerry the BlackBerry wants to download a device driver - or the PC wants to download a device driver? (I'm assuming you're using a PC?).

If the problem is with the PC - then are you using an SDXC compatible reader (the one that came with the card rather than the one you may already have in your PC that may not be SDXC compatible)?
In the device. I don't have a reader for the PC and the PC can't see that drive when mounted in the device.

I have been trying to format this new microSD card since I purchased it. I found an adapter and tried using Win7 to format to exFAT. Format worked on PC, but no go on BlackBerry.

I have been trying to downgrade my OS from 10.2.1.1055 to any of the 10.2.0.xxxx variants to no avail. I get stuck at the BlackBerry logo at 100% for several hours. Two hours, four hours, and all night, tried SIM pull, etc. Still cannot downgrade. I am using autoloaders built using Darcy's tools.

I revert back to 10.2.1.1055 in the morning so I can use my device.

    Any suggestions?

I got it to work without downgrading. I found a freeware FAT32 formatting .exe and ran it on Win7 PC. Used adapter for microSD. After formatting, I tried it in my BlackBerry and voila! It works.

If you have an adapter this should work, if not continue downgrading.

Awesome. so basically if we're using a brand new 64 GB microSD card, for example from SanDisk, it should work fine w/ no issues as long as we first format the card?
