Your WiFi should be fine in Europe. Don't know about China.

What do you mean by "special chip"? WiFi standards are a norm which is internationally recognized, so no worries about that.

    Hi,

You don't need any special chip. I travelled to China with my Q10 last October and there were no problems encountered.

But one thing to note is you may not be able to access Gmail over there because Google is blocked in China when I was there.

    Hope this helps.
