The battery in my wife's Samsung exploded! While connected to the charger. Now we discuss the Q10 I have, she'll wait for her upgrade and move to BlackBerry as I can no longer endorse Samsung in any form.

Playbook? Really.
You may be better off of getting a different tablet. Playbook browser, if you will be using that, is painful to use.
Blackberry phones will be upgrading to 10.3.1 OS and that will come with Blackberry blend functionality. You can access your phone from any android tablet or apple tablet and pc's.

BlackBerry Passport should be the next phone!

I have a Z30 and a Q10 I need that keyboard to keep me connected. Although the Z30 keyboard and predictive text is pretty sweet. Welcome to the BB10 world.

Yeah first BlackBerry I would avoid leaks.

So blackberry doesn't have a tablet? cause I've seen some for sale online.
BlackBerry PlayBook is a 2011 design / technology and while I Personally have three, I can't recommend buying in 2014.
I personally would grab a cheap android tablet, ipad mini or the surface which is what I use.

I'm ok with what was said before.
Playbook was a very good tablet back in the years, but the lack of app, of update etc... Is a big miss today. I can't recommand to buy one in 2014/2015.
Concerning the leaks, I recommand you to install the last leak. It's pretty much the same as an official one, and it brings so much "Futur" to our Q10. Do it before you get so much data on it, the lost will not be that huge.
Nice buy, my Q10 is like my baby, I hope it'll be the same for you !
They do have one, it's just outdated and a couple years old. It's no longer supported with updates. I have one and still use it. It's just not as good as some of the new tablets. You can probably get one cheap though, so it could be worth checking out.

I have an SD card on my Samsung note2 could I put it in my blackberry?
Sure, also I read that you're looking for a tablet, don't buy a PlayBook(as others have said it's outdated), buy a Surface or a Dell Venue 8.

So to update you can do it directly through your phone correct? Cause I could update directly through my settings on the note2.
Yup

Now that you're getting a keyboard phone, indulge in the greatest feature in the world, lol, ok, maybe not, but I love this about having a keyboard. Assign your most called contacts to homescreen speed dial. You can assign almost every key on the keyboard. So now when you want to call someone, you simply long-press on a key, and bam, phone call on its way. :-)
Just be sure 10.2.1 is installed. Check by going into settings, then about.

As a new Q10 owner is it hard going to a smaller screen? I am using a Z10 now but really want to try the Q10. It just looks professional and sleek!

Does Blend work with this leak?

I went from a Droid Incredible 2 to a Q10 and didn't find it hard at all. However, your mileage may vary. The fascination with the Q10's looks might wear off if you watch videos often or play mobile games.
If, however, you type a lot, and are willing to trade off the larger screen for a physical keyboard, then look no further than the Q10 (or the Classic, depending upon your budget). You might start wondering why the rest of the world prefers to still type on a slab :-).
Yes I already updated my phone. I don't really use any apps or play games. Just pic apps, email, text, and calls. You tube more to listen not watch. I love the fit in my hands. Very sleek.

You convinced me. I am definitely going to pick up a set black Q10! Have the best of both worlds.

Yes you can BUT, back up all your info from that SD card onto a computer first.
Then insert it into your beautiful Q10, then go to settings>storage and access>format media card.
Once you've done that then you can transfer your info back from your computer.
