Mine started like months after buying it over a year ago. I had the insurance so verizon had them send me a whole new phone. It was most likely a hardware issue. Not software. Hasn't double typed since. Although now I can't use bluetooth in my car with out my car displays turning off and on repeatedly. I'm trying to stay lyal BlackBerry. I really am.

Got my Q10 in August of last year. It started double-typing on a single key a couple weeks ago. Drove me nuts... sometimes it would key twice, sometimes it would key normally, and sometimes it wouldn't register a press at all. I took it back to Sprint and they replaced it, since it was still under warranty (and I have a phone protection plan). New one is working fine, but after reading this thread I'm a little nervous the issue will come back. Sprint no longer supports Blackberry phones so I can only hope they will replace the phone again as easily as they did the first one....

After about 1 year... I think it has to do with dust under the keys more than any other possible issue... a good strong blow moves the double typing to other keys... LOL... so a few blows on the Keyb (in the space between the keys) and the double-typing disappears (for a while)

Well it started 1 month ago! (after 10 months)! Most of the time is okay, others it is really annoying! And I don't have BlackBerry support in my country, don't know how to fix it! Just bought a Z30 today, will try to use both of them (Changing from on to the other) to see if it's possible to increase the lifetime of the Q10. I'll try to see if there is anyway I can get support for BlackBerry in Portugal, but I don't think so, don't know what to do..

Have had my Q10 for two years and double typing started six months ago. Upgrade to latest software version didn't help.

My Q10 wasn't new when I got it. It didn't take very long for me to notice it was double-typing. Oddly enough, it almost never double-types when I use the "alt" function.

The previous owner had the phone for about a year before passing it on to me. They said they never had double-typing issues.

You know, there are people actually wrote books with hundreds thousand of words using BlackBerry legacy devices--9730 to 9900. Is that a confirmation that the PKBs are better on the legacy devices than the BB10s?

Had my PKB replaced in one of the BlackBerry Expert Centers (if not the only) in the Philippines, and it's been working fine ever since. No more double-typing...so far!
