Recently sold my z30 and regretting it after a few days. Now I'm searching for a Q10 and have a few questions regarding the comparisons between the Z30 and Q10. Please accept my apologies if these questions were asked in other posts.

On my Z30, I upgraded the OS to 10.2.1.2056 and loved using some of the Android Apps, but I'm not a huge app user. The main apps I used are Google Maps and a few banks apps that I use on a daily basis that worked flawlessly on the z30.

Does Google Maps work good on the Q10?

Also, after the battery settled in, I could go from an unplugged Z30 from 5 AM to 10 PM on a single charge with at least 40% battery left with medium use. Can the Q get about the same? I realize the battery is smaller, but so is the screen on the Q10.

Last, but not least. The upgraded OS on the Z30's camera was great IMHO. How does the Q10 camera quality compare to the Z30 with upgraded OS 10.2.1.xxxx? I use the phone's camera often on a daily bases.

    Thanks in advance

Google maps works as great on the Q10. Functionally, it should be the same as on the Z30, though a smaller screen does mean you may have to move around the map more to locate something in specific. Battery life is great. I don't own a Z30 so I can't really compare the two, but I often go to bed with 60% battery life. This is with ~16% screen usage, data always on, and native apps usage only. Lastly, the camera module in the Z30 is the same as on the Q10, IIRC. If this is true, then you should not notice anything different in terms of image quality.

I agree about the screen. I have a Z10 and for the last 24 hours I've been using my Q10. I'm still trying to decide if I like the screen size.

Thanks for the great responses. I pulled the plug. Currently using an iphone 5 and will sell it as soon as the Q10 arrives, then purchase the z30 and have best of both worlds. I wear my phone in the pocket and was looking for something smaller as I'm in and out of my car all day long.

Also, just to clarify. I meant to say I use Google Navigation .

Again, thanks for the great replies.

I switched from a Z30 to a Q10 and couldn't be happier. I much prefer the smaller size, keyboard and ability to use it one handed when compared to the larger Z30. Pair it with a tablet and you're all set (which the Z30 feels like to me with that 5" screen
