The Dev Alpha C's form factor will probably succeed the Q10 allowing for more device familiarity between Full-Touch and Qwerty. Especially with every device from now on using 720 resolution from now on. Either that or BBRY will eliminate the Qwerty phones by BB11.

Same here, I don't really know what OP is trying to tell us here. In terms of hardware as well as formfactor, the Dev Alpha C is a repacked Q10 - just in a different housing. Maybe with a different screen technology (LCD instead of AMOLED?) - however otherwise those devices are virtually the same.

Meaning, I think the newer Full-touch and qwerty devices after these devices will look alike from a hardware perspective. Or, they will just drop the qwerty line when BB11 comes out. The Dev Alpha C looks like the cousin of the z10. Samsung does that with it's Galaxy phones.

I dont think they will look like cousins. I expect the keyboard devices all to still retain the look the that actual q10 has now and the keyboard units of the past

The Dev Alpha C looks like a BlackBerry from 6 years ago - not the future.

I expect the future QWERTY will have a taller screen.

I think that we might see the qwerty model take more design cues from the all-touch model in the future, but the dev alpha c is purely a boxy casing on a q10.
