This may be a stupid question, but is anyone aware how to keep text messages longer than a week??

Maybe that's a Q10 only thing, because on my Z they don't automatically get deleted.

I find that the Q10 doesn't have the option to choose how long to keep the text messages for, unlike the Bold 9900. Also, how do you set how long to keep your emails for on the Q10?

I have only had my Q since past Saturday (previously had the Z), and it shows the oldest text as Monday. I find this odd. Also it says that software version 10.1.0.273 is available from notifications (previously had that software version on my Z), but when I choose to check for updates, tells me I have the latest software, version 10.1.0.238. This is unfortunate because, BlackBerry link doesn't allow to switch device data backwards. Told me that wouldn't be completed, because the old device had a newer software version than the new one. This device had to be unlocked, as it came from another carrier, perhaps this has something to do with it?
