Currently I'm with AT&T, I have the opportunity to switch to Verizon thru my company. So today I will be switching to a Q10 or Z30. To my surprise Verizon has three Q10's on display but no Z30's. The Q10 feels really comfortable to hold and that keyboard felt like a long lost friend. I have to admit I hate typing on a screen. So while the Z30 has a big screen and longer battery life, I still miss the keyboard .

So please cast your votes, Z30 or Q10?

Get the Z30. Keyboard is amazing and I had been a holdout due to the lack of a physical keyboard but took the leap 3 weeks ago. Battery life is really incredible. It is very comfortable to hold and operate. Only negative is Verizon hasn't released the update for the Z30's yet - word is end of February or mid March.

I agree. It depends.

Do you use your phone for more of a media angle - apps, movies, videos, games, etc.? Maybe you will miss the bigger screen.

Do you pound out a lot of emails and texts, and like the functionality of a keyboard? Maybe you would like the Q10.

But by the same token, the Z30 has a phenomenal keyboard, and since the screen real-estate is huge, your fingers will have more room to "press" the right buttons. Don't rule out the Z30 (and this is coming from a Q10 user!). Try out both phones before you make your choice.

Both the Z30 and Q10 have excellent keyboards with phenomenal word prediction, so I really think typing on both would be fun.

I have a Q10 and I love it. I feel powerful with it in my hand. It's a straight to the job kind of phone.

This might sound crazy but I am looking into getting a Z30 for times I have long road trips and when I am on the treadmill (I love watching boxing highlights and training when I am on the treadmill)

I think I quick swap of sim and SD card should allow me to move back in forth between phone smoothly.

I own a Q10....it is a great device but like everyone has said - depends on your needs/usage. I would love to own a Z30 as well. Which ever one you choose will be great! The Q10 is no slouch on battery life either....plus it has a removable battery so the charging bundle could pick up the slack (versus the Z30) for you. Something to consider.

Ok everyone my choice was a Q10. I love the keyboard, I do miss the screen real estate but not as much as I missed the keyboard.

We did add three phones phones to our company, one is a Z30 and the other a Z10.

I personally would have gotten a Z30 (coming from a Z10) but I've seen the Q10 in person a few times already and it's a NICE phone so either way I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Personally I think the Q10 (and I asume the Q5 also) are the only real BlackBerries. Blackberries have physical keyboards. The Z devices are Iphone/Galaxy wannabees. Z devices will never ever compete with the Android en iOS devices in selling numbers. But there is a serious amount of people who want physical keyboard smart phones. BlackBerry is the only manufacturer that has premium keyboard phones on the market. Why doesn't BlackBerry focus on this niche market and be the number one there?

BlackBerry has been making touch screen phones since the original storm came out in 2008. Sure the keyboard BBs have sold better than the touch screen, but to say they are the only real Blackberrys is kinda crazy imho

That's just my opinion, moving from a Z10 to a Q10 last week. And BlackBerries have had phisical keyboards since Day one.

I'm Q10 user, love my physical keyboard, but, as a sales person that's always on the road, I do miss sometimes the big screen to read PDF's, maps, I also use a lot Evernote.

So I'm not sure if if I should change my Q10 for a Z30. I can live without my physical keyboard but the screen size is becoming a little bit annoying.

OS BB10 is awesome for productivity and communication, I only need a bigger screen

Q10 is definitely smaller than Z30 -.-! i prefer my phone to be the same size as my palm. Q10 it is.
